MyDVC Tools Calendar Setup

This page explains how to setup our CalDAV MyDVC Calendar Events system that allows you to see your alerts and vacations on your devices' calendar. Please make sure you have enabled this setting in the MyDVC Tools Settings page first.

iOS/iPhone Users:

Auto Install:
These instructions will have you download and install a iOS Profile, if you don't wish to do this then use the manual setup instructions below. Get your iPhone and load up Safari. Go to the web address of https://www.dvchelp.com/mydvc/calendarconfig. Your phone should prompt you to install the profile. Once it is installed you will need to enter in the Calendar password you specified on the Settings page of the My DVC Tools area of our site.

How to uninstall Auto-Installed Profile:
If you don't use our site any more and don't want to use this feature any more, you can see and remove profiles by going to Settings > General on your iPhone. Then remove the "DVCHelp.Com MyDVC Calendar" profile and this will remove the calendar from your phone. You will also want to turn off the Calendar feature on the settings page as well.

How Many Days Until My DVC Vacation iOS Shortcut:
Want to ask Siri how many days left until your Vacation? Then we have the shortcut for you. As long as you have the DVCHelp CalDAV Calendar setup on your phone, this shortcut will have Siri tell you how many days left until your next DVC Vacation.
Just ask: "Hey Siri, How many days until my DVC Vacation".
To set this up, just install the following iOS shortcut:

Manual Setup:
1. Open Settings, by tapping on the settings icon.
2. Tap on Accounts & Passwords. If Accounts & Passwords does NOT exist, then Tap on Calendars and then Tap on Accounts.
3. Tap on Add Account.
4. Tap Other.
5. Under the Calendars section, tap on Add CalDAV Account to add your CalDAV account for our site.
6. Fill out the following fields:

• Server: www.dvchelp.com
• User Name: Enter your e-mail address that you used to sign up for our website (same e-mail you use to login to our site).
• Password: Enter the password you entered in the MyDVC Calendar Password field on the Settings page of the My DVC Tools area.
• Description: DVCHelp.com Calendar or what ever you would like to name it.

7. Tap Next (top right) to continue
8. Tap (check/turn on) the Calenders option and Unselect (uncheck/turn off) the Reminders option then tap Save at the top right.
9. Tap the Keep on My iPhone option to make sure to keep all local calendars on your phone.
10. Now tap Save at the top right to setup the account.

Events in your account like alerts and vacations should now be visible in the calendar app on your device. Any changes made in your account on our site will show up on your device automatically based on your "Pull" time that you have set. NOTE: Updates to your device from our website may not occur instantly, but should update within 15-30 minutes.

iOS Calendar Sharing:

To share your DVC vacations calendar with other users such as family or traveling party members, just go to the calendar app on your iOS device. Then click Calendars at the bottom. Then click the i with the circle around it next to the DVCHelp calendar.  Under the shared with section, click Add Person and enter their e-mail address and then click Add at the top. This will send an e-mail to that user with instructions and login information for setting up the calendar on their device.

Android Users:
